Volt XX is committed to making its website and digital information usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies or alternative input methods.
Our accessibility target
The website is being designed and tested with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the target. This statement should not be presented as a formal conformance claim until the implemented website has been audited against the relevant success criteria.
Measures included in the design and build
- A logical heading structure and semantic page regions.
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms, controls, accordions and dialogs.
- Visible keyboard focus and no keyboard traps.
- Sufficient colour contrast and information that does not rely on colour alone.
- Text that can resize and reflow without loss of essential content or function.
- Labels, instructions, error identification and error summaries for forms.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and decorative treatment for non-informative images.
- Reduced-motion preferences where motion is introduced.
Known limitations
Known limitations and their remediation status should be published after the production accessibility audit. Third-party content may have separate limitations outside the direct control of Volt XX.
Third-party content
Embedded booking, video, broker or communication services may be governed by the accessibility practices of their providers. Volt XX should choose and configure providers with accessibility in mind and offer an alternative route where reasonably possible.
Report an accessibility issue
TEST — approved accessibility contact pending. Include the page URL, the problem encountered, the browser or assistive technology used and the format or outcome you need. Do not include passwords or sensitive account credentials.
Alternative formats
Where reasonably possible, Volt XX will provide essential website information in an alternative accessible format on request.
